Studio Plus Dropbox Integration Privacy Notice

1. What this notice covers

This notice applies specifically to the Dropbox integration used by Studio Plus. It explains what Dropbox data Studio Plus can access after authorization, why that access is needed, and how that data is handled.

This notice supplements the general Studio Plus privacy policy and is intended to help Dropbox reviewers and connected users understand the Dropbox-specific behavior of the integration.

2. What data Studio Plus accesses from Dropbox

When a studio owner or authorized team member connects Dropbox to Studio Plus, Studio Plus may access limited Dropbox account information such as account ID, email address, and display name.

Studio Plus may also access file metadata, file contents, and sharing information only as needed to create folders, upload files, generate client galleries, generate shared delivery links, read previews, sync content, and manage files related to photography orders handled through Studio Plus.

3. How Studio Plus uses Dropbox data

Studio Plus uses Dropbox access only to operate user-requested storage workflows inside the product. This includes creating a dedicated root folder path for the studio, organizing order folders, uploading original files, client gallery files, selected files, final delivery files, and generating or reading shared links when the user triggers those actions.

Studio Plus does not use Dropbox data for advertising, resale, data brokerage, or unrelated profiling. Access is limited to product functionality requested by the user.

4. Folder structure and storage behavior

Studio Plus creates and maintains a dedicated operating folder path for the connected studio account. Within that path, Studio Plus may create an Orders folder and subfolders for each order so that files remain organized for the studio workflow.

Studio Plus is designed to work with the folder path it creates or maintains for the studio. If the user renames, deletes, moves, or restricts those folders manually inside Dropbox, some Studio Plus upload, sync, gallery, or delivery features may stop working correctly.

5. Sharing behavior

Studio Plus may create or read Dropbox shared links only when needed for user-facing features such as gallery viewing, final delivery download, or internal file workflow initiated by the studio.

Studio Plus does not intentionally share Dropbox content with third parties except as instructed by the user through Studio Plus features, or as required by law.

6. Token handling and security

Studio Plus stores the Dropbox refresh token and basic integration metadata needed to keep the connection active for the studio account. This information is used to refresh temporary access tokens and continue authorized Dropbox operations.

Studio Plus applies reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect integration credentials and associated data. However, users remain responsible for protecting their own Studio Plus accounts, Dropbox accounts, linked devices, and administrative permissions.

7. Disconnection and deletion

When the user disconnects Dropbox from Studio Plus, Studio Plus removes the stored Dropbox integration record used by the product for future access.

Disconnecting Dropbox from Studio Plus does not automatically delete files or folders that were already created inside the user’s Dropbox account. Those files remain under the user’s Dropbox account unless the user deletes them from Dropbox directly.

8. Data sharing and subprocessors

Dropbox data may be processed through Studio Plus infrastructure and service providers only as required to deliver the Studio Plus product and maintain security, reliability, and support operations.

Studio Plus does not sell Dropbox user data. Studio Plus only uses and discloses Dropbox-related data as authorized by the user and as necessary to provide the integration.

9. User control

Users control whether Dropbox is connected to Studio Plus. Users may disconnect the integration from Studio Plus, revoke app access from Dropbox, or stop using Dropbox-backed storage features at any time.

If you are a client of a studio using Studio Plus and have questions about gallery files or customer deliveries, your primary contact should usually be the studio that invited you or served you through Studio Plus.

7. ماذا يحدث عند فصل الربط
